Kearsney College, a prestigious school located in Bothas Hill, Durban, requested the upgrade of their existing Hockey Field (Astro Turf) Flood Lighting. In conjunction with Ramble Malone, Swanlite designed and supplied a solution that met all specifications. Using Thorn Luminaires and 2KW Lamps we were able to deliver an average of 500lux across the pitch. In addition to this, a switching system was installed such that the pitch could be illuminated at various levels on a share bases between Kearsney and Hockey Club. Hence we were able to provide a smart solution with maximum efficiency, with the flexibility of split billing.
